Cubot Band V1 Band Review

A well-known manufacturer of affordable smartphones Cubot decided to try their hand at the niche fitness tracker and introduced the device Band V1.

From the appearance it is clear that for the Cubot the starting point was the Mi Band bracelet from Xiaomi, which obviously will be competed with Band V1. The main feature of the novelty is a 0.88-inch OLED display with a resolution of 128×32 pixels, displaying time, dates, data on physical activity, notifications and battery charge. The internal equipment of the device includes an accelerometer MMA8652, a Bluetooth chip Dialog DA14580 and a battery with a capacity of 80 mAh.

The functionality of the Cubot Band V1 is represented by calculating steps, burned calories, monitoring sleep phases, an alarm clock and notification of notifications and calls. According to Cubot, the bracelet does not need to be recharged in standby mode for up to 30 days. The housing is protected against water and dust in accordance with IP65.

Charging is carried out with the help of a special charger or via a normal microUSB cable. In the manufacture of the strap participated German company Bayer, so that you can be sure of the absence of an allergic reaction to it. To connect to the fitness tracker requires a smartphone with Android 4.3 and iOS 7.0 or higher, the synchronization is through a special application.
